Since iPhone 3.0 about to be released I thought I would post my opinion on what the iPhone is missing feature wise.
- A universial location for all apps to store files. Each app has it own file storage location making it a pain for the end user. If their was one universal location for all apps to store files it would be easier to download a text file using an FTP program and edit that file and post it to the web.
- The capability to use any song on the iPhone as a ring tone. My old Motorola Razor could do this why can’t the iPhone?
- The ability to record video. You should be able to capture a video and then upload it to YouTube or your MobileMe account.
- The ability to transfer files using Bluetooth. Once again my old Motorola Razor could do this why can’t my iPhone.
Now that you know what I think is missing, here is a list of things to come in iPhone 3.0.

- Peer to peer conductivity
- Better accessories Support
- Push Notification
- Cut, Copy and Paste
- Send multiple photos in an email
- Landscape keyboard in all iPhone key applications
- Forward and Delete single or multiple SMS messages
- Voice Memos recording
- Share Calendars
- Stocks app improvements
- Search in all iPhone key applications
- Spotlight search app
- Notes sync
- Stereo Bluetooth
- Improved features for Safari
- More parental controls
- Over 100 new features in total!!!
