Reuters is reporting that McAfee and Symantec are working on software for the iPhone.
McAfee is developing security software for the iPhone and Mac computer, DeWalt said, in addition to technology it supplies to protect Apple computers against viruses.
Symantec, the No. 1 software security maker, is looking at developing a backup service that would protect data on the iPhone and allow users to use the device to access information stored on their PCs or on the Web, said Symantec Senior Vice President Rowan Trollope.
I just wonder how long until we start hearing about anti-virus software for the iPhone.

If YouTube doesn’t have enough content for you and your iPhone try Blip.tv. Blip.tv is a new website that offers video for us iPhone users in the world. You can post your videos on Blip.tv and broadcast them to the world. They support a wide range of wide range of video formats. Some of the format are Flash 8, DivX and 3gp. But not all shows work on the iPhone, but it a break from the norm if you are tired of watching YouTube videos. It even has some of my favorite episodes of Project Lore, Diggnation, and Epic FU.
